Our Favorite Name Writing Activities for Preschoolers
For preschoolers, learning to write their name is an exciting milestone. It is often the very first word they recognize and write on their own, which makes it feel meaningful and personal. Practicing their name also builds early literacy skills and works those fine motor muscles. We love name activities that are more than just worksheets. When we are practicing our names with students, we look for ideas that are hands-on, engaging, fun, and simple. We’ve gathered up some of our very favorite name writing activities for you to try in your home or classroom. Keep reading for some fabulous ideas!
