Train Counting Math Activity for Preschoolers [free download]

Today, we're steaming full speed ahead into a fun and easy counting activity for preschoolers. It is perfect for your transportation unit of study, or for any kiddo who loves locomotives. You will need:

Free counting train download (see below!)
Colored popsicle sticks (like these)
Large foam die (these are the ones we have!)

Instructions:

Download and print the free counting train printable. You can laminate it for durability if you’d like.
Have your child roll the die, then add that many popsicle sticks to the matching number car on the train.
Keep rolling until all the cars are full!
You can also use the colored sticks to practice color sorting. Place one red stick in the 1 car, two blue sticks in the 2 car, etc.
