Shamrock Painting
It's St. Patrick's Day and you're looking for something to fill in the time before bedtime- here's an idea to add to your list! As long as you have some green paint on hand, I guarantee you'll have everything else you need around the house!
What You Need:
Green Paint
Toilet Paper Tube
White Paper
Paper Plate
Instructions:
Put some green paint out on a plate.
Create an example for your kids to follow (see picture).
Have your kids use the toilet paper tube to stamp into the paint and create the 4 leaves of a shamrock.
Have them use their finger to paint the stem, and there you have it!
Activity Notes:
If you don't have any paint, try mixing green food coloring in some yogurt or sour cream!
If you don't have any toilet paper tubes- don't unroll an entire roll just for this! Just roll up a piece of construction paper and tape it. Same idea!
This muffin tin syllable sorting game is farm themed and perfect to add to your literacy center during your preschool farm unit! It’s a great way to practice syllables with little learners.
