Pet Roll, Count, and Color (free download!)
We love learning about pets in our preschool classrooms! We created this fun Pet Roll, Count, and Color download so that you can have fun learning about pets, too! This resource is perfect to practice counting, number recognition, subitizing, and fine motor skills all in one. Keep reading for all the details and scroll to the bottom to grab your free download!
You will need:
Pet Roll, Count, and Color sheet (free download below!)
Dice, one for each student
Markers or crayons
Instructions:
Download and print a Pet Roll, Count, and Color sheet for each student.
Give each student a die.
Have them roll the die, count how many dots they rolled, then color that many pets on the sheet.
Roll again, count again, and color again until your whole sheet is full of colorful pets.
To make it harder, you could use two dice and have the student add the numbers they roll together, then color that many.
To make it easier, you can use color dice and have the students roll, then use the color the roll to color one pet.
Another option is to use stickers or dot markers instead of regular markers or crayons. So many ways to play!
