Painting with Corn Thanksgiving Process Art
Painting with corn is one of our very favorite process art activities to do with preschoolers! It is perfect for the fall or Thanksgiving time. We have all the instructions down below, and if you’d like to use a template to make the project even cuter, you can find it in our Thanksgiving Art Bundle in our shop! Keep reading for all the details!
You will need:
Corn on the cob
Paper Plates
Paint
Large paper or our Painting with Corn Templates (find them here!)
Optional: paintbrushes
Instructions:
Download and print the Painting with Corn template from our shop, or place a large construction paper out.
Husk the corn cobs.
Place a different color of paint on each plate.
Roll the corn cobs into the paint, or use a paintbrush to cover them with paint.
Roll the painted corn all over the paper to make a beautiful design.
If you’re using the templates, let the paint dry and then cut out the corn design. You can display your beautiful artwork all fall!
