Color Blue Activity for Preschoolers
Today in our preschool class we learned all about the color blue. We make color books with a different page for each color that the students can decorate, so today we decorated our blue page with a simple and fun activity that you could totally do at home!
You will need:
Paper
Blue paint
Optional: Cloud print out
Blue and Other Colors or another book about the color blue
Instructions:
Read the book Blue and Other Colors together. Talk about all of the things that you can see around you that are blue.
Explain that you are going to make a blue picture today!
Glue to cloud printout to the top of your paper. You could also just have your child draw a blue cloud.
Using blue paint, finger paint the raindrops coming from the cloud.
Hang your blue picture somewhere you can see it, or use it to create a color book like we do in our preschool classrooms!
