Christmas Cutting Strips Fine Motor (free download!)
Do you have a child who is learning how to cut? Using scissors is an important preschool skill, and our Christmas cutting strips are a fun and festive way to help preschoolers strengthen their fine motor skills during the holiday season! Be sure to grab the free download below, and keep reading to see how we use them!
You will need:
Christmas cutting strips (free download below!)
Scissors
Construction paper
Glue stick
Instructions:
Download and print the Christmas cutting strips (free below!)
Cut the strips lengthwise if your child is just learning how to cut. This way they can just snip the pictures.
Give your child the long strips and help them place the scissors where they need to be to snip the pictures.
Once your child has cut as many pictures and they want, we like to have them glue the pictures to the construction paper to make a festive collage!
