Winter Coloring Poster
Whether you are looking to entertain children in your home, classroom, or at a holiday party, this winter coloring poster will be a huge hit! We thought of the many different celebrations from people of all backgrounds and this poster includes them all!
Some of our favorite ways to use this poster:
Pull out any art medium that you have at home! Crayons, colored pencils, and markers are great!
Tempera Paint sticks are SO fun! They glide along the paper and offer a different texture that crayons or markers.
Get creative! If you have jewels, sequins, beads, googly eyes, yarn, felt pieces, etc. Pull them out along with some liquid glue and let the children take the lead. You will be AMAZED at the creativity that comes along with offering different art mediums that the children aren’t used to using.
Liquid water colors or paint can also be a great way to decorate this poster.
You can even use items such as small colored erasers, beads, or colored beans and let children simply put them on and then take them off when they are done. Then you can re-use the poster over and over again. This kind of art is fun because there is no pressure for the children to create something to take home and showcase. They know that they will clean it up when they are done and will feel free as they explore and create!
