Paint the Sidewalk Activity

This is the simplest summer activity that my kids could do on repeat every single day. There is just something about water play, especially when you use novel materials like paintbrushes and scoops, that holds children’s attention forever! Keep reading for all the details on how to set your own paint the sidewalk activity this summer. I promise, your kids will ask for it over and over again!

You will need:

A large bin or container

A variety of paintbrushes and rollers (use whatever you have on hand or snag some from Amazon here)

Instructions:

All you need to do is set out the container and fill it with water. Hand your child any paintbrush, scoop, or foam roller you have available and let them paint the sidewalk. They love watching the water evaporate on hot days!
